WHEN Sue Tarling, 60, of Bodmin lost her battle against cancer, two former colleagues Scott Cavill and Lee Hoskin set out to raise money for Cornwall Hospice Care.

Mr Hoskin is the driving force behind local fundraising group "Keep it Cornish" and he organised a Zip Wire Challenge at Adrenalin Quarry, Liskeard.

Twenty family members and friends, aged from 8 up, hooked up and went down the 490-metre zip wire.

Mr Cavill said: "We are so proud of the kids and some of the adults who were scared of heights, but still found the courage to do the challenge.

"Over £370 was raised for Cornwall Hospice Care."
