A CHARITY set up in memory of inspirational school teacher Beth Clench, is holding a sponsored horse ride this Sunday.

Sue Abbott-Smith launched the charity after Beth, 24, passed away in November, following an 18-month battle with cancer.

The much-loved primary school teacher from Par was an accomplished horse rider, who rode at St Veep riding stables.

The ride, which starts at 10am from St Veep Showground field, Lerryn, is in memory of Beth but also to raise funds for the charity set up in her name to help other young people with cancer and their families.

Everyone is welcome and asked to wear a splash of pink in remembrance of Beth.

The riders' entrance fee is £10 and refreshments will be served.

More details are available on the Facebook page Beth's Inspiration.
