Who dumped 60 tyres beside country roads?

POLICE at Camelford have issued an appeal for information after around 60 car tyres were discovered dumped on the roadside in the St Teath and Delabole areas.

Camelford police are asking anyone who knows anything about the incident to contact them by phoning 101 and quoting crime reference number BC/14/35.

A spokesman said: "No information is too trivial and your details can be anonymous."

    It's because the derisory fines handed out if these irresponsible people are caught that they do it and will continue to do so as the fine is a lot less than the cost of disposing of trade waste legally. Wake up magistrates and give them the maximum fine and name and shame. What right do these idiots have to turn our countryside into an eyesore?
