BOSCASTLE BOWLS CLUB: short mat bowls winter league has started is always looking for new social or competitive members. Just go along to the Community Sports Hall on Monday evenings from 7pm or Friday afternoons at 2pm until 5pm.

CORNWALL ASSOCIATION OF CRICKET OFFICIALS: holding a Level One course at Cornwall Cricket Centre, Truro College, on Thursday nights from January 17 to March 28, 2013.The sessions start at 7.15pm and last for a maximum of two hours. The courses are interactive and entertaining with a minimum of Powerpoint use. Candidates do not have to attend every session. All enquiries to cornwallumpires@gmail.com

PLYMOUTH ARGYLE: Football in the Community Trust 'Match Day Magic' promotion. Calling all schools and Youth Football Clubs. Experience the magic of a live League Two game at Home Park. The day includes: 1) Talk on history of the club; 2) Stadium tour (including dressing rooms, board room and pitch side); 3) Coaching for the children; 4) Hot lunch for everyone and a ticket for the game. RUGBY COACHING: THE CRFU Coaching Association are holding two free development sessions in the new year. The sessions at Truro College on Monday January 7 and Monday February 4 will be run on Ricky Pellow from Exeter Chiefs. All coaches and teachers are invited. There is no charge and no registration is required just turn up on the evenings.
