SLIMMERS in North Cornwall have donated the clothes that no longer fit them to Bodmin's Cancer Research UK charity shop.
People came to the Fore Street store and dropped off 260 bags of unwanted clothing.
The donations were part of the Big Slimming World Clothes Throw – a nationwide fundraising drive that sees members across the UK donating clothes to Cancer Research UK.
Each bag of clothes collected could raise up to £30 and members hope to raise £300,000 for the charity.
Michelle Lucas, manager of the charity's shop in Bodmin, said: "We welcome clothes in all shapes, sizes and styles, and were thrilled to receive such a huge donation of clothing from the Slimming World groups in the area.
"It's amazing to think that they've lost so much weight that they've all got so many clothes to clear out from their wardrobes.
"And we're delighted that they've chosen to use their success to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
"The money their old clothes raise will make a huge difference to people fighting cancer."
