CORNWALL Under-20s have named their team to face Devon in their crunch National Championship match at Penryn RFC on Sunday (2.30pm).
There are four changes to the side that defeated Dorset and Wilts 37-35 in dramatic fashion in their opening group match at North Dorset Rugby Club at the start of this month, with three of them in the backs.
Cornish All Blacks winger Sam Chapman, who was ruled out of the Dorset game with concussion, comes in for Penryn's Jack Willey, while Bradley Janes takes over from Camborne's James Briant.
There is also a change at scrum-half, with Wadebridge Camels number nine Sam Fox replacing Truro College's Connor Swan.
The only alteration in the pack comes in the front row, with Tommy Phillips unavailable due to a South West Under-18s training weekend, and his place goes to Truro College hooker Jack Innard, who was named in the Exeter Chiefs Academy side for their Under-18 final against Northampton Saints at Saracens' Allianz Park two days ago.
Cornwall know that if they win the game, they will secure a home tie in the quarter-finals of the competition.
Duchy team manager Chris Lea said: "It will be a nervous week for coaches and selectors, because we have picked a strong squad with one or two changes due to unavailability, but between training last Sunday and the game against Devon, players have club and college games to fulfil.
"We wish the players the best of luck in their commitments but hope they are ready for what will be a defining day at Penryn.
"Coaches Ian Morgan, Mike Rawlings, and Bryn Jenkins have built an excellent squad ethic and a pride in wearing the black and gold shirt, and a good result against Devon will define where this squad goes next.
"Colin Hatch and his backroom team have ensured that the Cornish lads have all they need to set up this latest encounter between the two counties."
