FIRE safety and being aware of risk on a building site are some of the things pupils at Newquay Junior Academy have been learning this week.

Pupils in Year 5 went to Newquay fire station to take part in Hazard Alley where they learn about dangers in different situations.

Year 5 teacher, Jethro Baines, said: "The organisers never fail to deliver an exciting afternoon of activities. The children learn such important things for life."
