Pupils' clever plan being put to the test

AN INGENIOUS scheme hatched by two Fowey Community College students to grow food for the school canteen will now come to fruition, thanks to a generous donation from TT Compost.

Year 10 students Oli Dobbs and Carys Hill appealed to the Cornish Guardian for a donation of top soil to complete their micro-allotments project.

And TT Compost were happy to oblige, with employee Neil Dennis delivering 2.5 tonnes.

Oli, 14, said: "TT Compost's donation paves the way for a successful project which benefits everyone in the school."
