WITH three straight wins under their belt, the Cornish Pirates travel to the Midlands tomorrow and one of their least favourite venues for an RFU Championship appointment with Moseley at Billesley Common (3pm).
The Pirates have surrendered leads while drawing each of their last two visits there and prior to that in December 2009 needed a last gasp Rob Cook conversion to nick a 20-19 win. But based on recent form at least, they will travel as slight favourites to end that run with Moseley currently winless at home this season.
The Midlanders go into the weekend three places and six points below the Pirates in tenth place and after winning both of their British & Irish Cup games, they then went down last time out at lowly Doncaster.
Pirates head coach Ian Davies is keen for his side to continue their current winning run but knows they will have to be at their best on Saturday if they are to do that.
