A 30-YEAR-OLD horse was rescued after it slipped and got stuck against a fence in Looe.
Fire crews from Looe and Bodmin helped the horse last Wednesday after it got wedged against a fence at a Morval stable yard by using strops and lines at around 4.11pm. At 5.30pm the horse was in an upright position and in the care of the owner and the vet who also attended.
A spokesman for Looe Community Fire Station said: "The horse slipped off a concrete standing and got wedged between the hardstanding and the fence.
"It took us about 30 minutes to get the horse out of the fencing.
"The vet sedated the horse and we were able to remove the fence and secure the horse."
