A HOTEL in Wadebridge which specialises in providing supported holidays for adults with learning disabilities has undergone improvement work costing £17,000.

Trevanion House Holidays was established in 1991, but last year was taken over by a new set of directors.

The hotel is the only one of its kind in Cornwall, and has employed local tradesmen to carry out interior renovations. "We are always striving to improve the service and facilities we offer at Trevanion House," said Tracey Barrett, a director.

"We hold great importance on the guests' experience when they come and stay with us. They are our champions. If we are not up to scratch the guests simply won't return. We rely on our guests' support, and so naturally we wish to create the best environment, making a Trevanion House holiday a memorable one."
