A SALTASH drama school is celebrating after its students scooped a collection of trophies at the Saltash Music Speech and Drama Festival.
Students from the Essa School of Drama won a total of 11 trophies in categories such as mayor's drama, open drama, public speaking and the vocal section.
Kaye Bonner, teacher at the school, said the students were delighted. She said: "The girls have worked very hard individually and as a team and deserved to do well.
"They enjoyed performing and learning from the adjudicator and their fellow competitors at the festival.
"They are very mindful that it isn't always about winning but taking part and the enjoyment of bringing words from pages to life in a wonderful performing arts environment."
