GIRL GUIDE Thinking Day has been marked with an event in Camelford.

Held on February 22, Thinking Day is the time when Girl Guides around the world take the opportunity to renew the promise that all members make as part of joining the organisation.

The Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, senior section and leaders in the Camelford district, which includes St Breward and Treknow, met at Souls Harbour in Camelford.

They were focusing nearer to home this year as they had fun learning about the United Kingdom.

As well as crafts around dragons, roses, shamrocks, tartans and much more, they also raised money to help towards achieving universal primary education for girls overseas.
