Duchy League

TWO GAMES PLAYED:

The latest winter storms restricted the Duchy League programme to just two games.

Premier Sixes again took advantage of the 3G pitch at Newquay to record a 1-0 victory over Sticker which takes them up to fourth place in Division Two.

They were a little fortunate to win the game, as Sticker were in control in the main part.

The only goal came just after the midway point in the second half when Martyn Probert hit the winner from just outside the penalty box.

The only grass pitch to survive was at Tregony were Holywell/Cubert Athletic moved to within two points of the top of Division Three after a 3-1 success.

Alex Pearce was the home scorer.
