Cook-off: Young chefs feel the heat

GREGG Wallace was nowhere in sight but this didn't stop youngsters at St Columb Major Academy from holding their own MasterChef competition last week.

Budding chef Bethany Applewhite emerged victorious in the high pressure cook-off, judged by local sous chef Nick Osborne.

A spokeswoman for the school said: "It was a close competition but Bethany eventually came out on top. Everyone had a lot of fun."
