A PARKED car which suffered "significant" damage in Newquay is believed to have been targeted deliberately.
The black Volkswagen Passat Estate's nearside passenger wing mirror was cracked while a gouge mark was found on the rear passenger side wheel arch.
Another scratch was found over the right wheel arch while the paint was scratched right off to the metal near the fuel lid.
The vehicle was parked securely on Trevose Avenue and the damage happened between 6pm on Saturday, August 25, and 10.45am the following day.
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Adam Barbery on 101 quoting GN/12/2013.
