CALLINGTON residents tucked into haggis at a Burns Night celebration in the town on Saturday.
Around 75 people came to the Town Hall to join in with the annual event.
The evening began with the haggis being brought into the hall on a silver tray by Eric Ramage led by piper, Ken Shaw.
Callington town councillor, Karen Gold, who went to the event, said: "It was a good turnout and it's nice to see so many taking part; Callington is a thriving community – it went really well."
Isabelle Ramage carried out the ceremonial addressing of the haggis and after the meal the evening ended with traditional Scottish dancing.
The Callington and District Twinning Association organised the event and its chairman, Sue Lumley, said: "We all had a good evening with good entertainment."
